Start making a difference today!
In three weeks, you can become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and be on the path to a future in healthcare. No college education or previous professional experience needed. Westside Terrace Healthcare has monthly classes that will help you become proficient in basic nursing skills and prepare for growth in the advanced medical field. In addition to learning from experienced professionals in the classroom, our students get the hands-on clinical training that they need to deliver quality and competent care. Upon completion of certification, you can go right to work at Westside Terrace and start building your professional experience.
How do CNAs make a difference?
A CNA is often the first person a resident sees in the morning so they are an important part of their lives. They provide dignified care and comforting compassion for our residents. CNAs are trained to perform routine tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. They maintain a safe environment and perform selected tasks related to the personal hygiene and comfort of residents. Nursing assistants observe physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any changes to the nursing or medical staff.
How do I start?
Our program requires a high school diploma or GED. Upon completion of the program, graduates are interviewed and hired by Westside Terrace Healthcare following a successful background and drug screening.
